    Getting Squeaky Clean With SOAP

    Monday, August 24th, 2009

In today’s world, technology is readily available on your iPod, Blackberry, and laptops. Recently, I read on an Internet blog that the Seattle Post-Intelligencer would be stopping their paper distribution and going to an Internet based publication only. This marks a 146 year tradition that ended. If a major newspaper organization recognizes that today’s readers are wanting news instantly, then why shouldn’t Lyn-Tron make as much data as possible available to their distributors?

SOAP (Simple Object Access Protocol) provides the ability to exchange complex data in a very quick and efficient manor over the Internet. SOAP is uniformly accepted by the world’s leading web browsers thus making it a perfect application for today’s hand held devices. We, at Lyn-Tron, began to develop software that utilizes SOAP and XML-RPC. For those distributors who are looking for an API, they don’t have to wait much longer. The project is already in the works. We are planning to start Beta testing with selected distributors by the end of this summer.

Until the API is complete, did you know that Lyn-Tron already offers On-line Pricing and Availability (authorized distributors only) along with a free version or our Catalog?
