Product Description
Thumb nuts offer a unique and finished look that allow for a nut to be tightened without tools. Lyn-Tron's thumb nuts are offered in all common female threads and in both the round knurled thumb nuts and hex style thumb nuts. Thumb nuts can be used to secure electrical wiring in electrical components or to temporarily fasten parts that need adjustments, changing, or removing frequently. The round shape provide a nice finished look. Steel is inexpensive, easy to achieve finer surface quality requirements and provides relatively high strength properties. Multiple plating options are available to increase the material's corrosion resistance and alter its appearance.
